Introducing GeriJoy: Affordable Companionship and 24/7 Care for Your Loved One

If you’re an early adapter to technology, you may have seen first-hand how new apps and computer programs can enhance lives. From Skype and Facetime to apps that help people remember when to take their medicine (see below), there are thousands of examples of how technology can make our lives easier and happier.

This month, we are excited to announce that we are adding one such program to our Family Matters In-Home Care offerings: GeriJoy Connected Care. GeriJoy is a patent-pending system of care in which a specially-trained global caregiver team offers companionship and supervision through tablet-based avatars 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

GeriJoy offers:

Virtual pet therapy: Give your loved ones the opportunity to feel the love and companionship that comes with having a pet, without having the responsibility to care for it;
Care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: The online program monitors what it sees as it cares for your loved one;
An online portal: Enables you to offer your loved one constant care and attention.
