Meet Our Team
Carol has spent the past forty years working in the healthcare field and has dedicated her life to caring for others. As a C.N.A. she worked on El Camino Hospital’s cardiac unit, Los Gatos Community Hospital, and several home health and hospice agencies, as well as at The Women’s Cancer Center in Los Gatos and for a neurology office in other capacities. It is her belief that all those in need of home care should be treated with the same level of dignity and respect that would be provided to a family member, and she has made that the company’s goal.
Jacob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and over a dozen years of experience working in healthcare, but his passion for working with older adults is rooted in his younger years. He had a close relationship with his grandparents, Marlene, Ron, Shirley and Gene, as well as with his great-grandmother Hazel. His experiences while growing up taught him to respect and delight in the wealth of life experiences that older adults can share, and he attributes his love for his work to what he learned while helping care for Marlene and Ron during the latter stages of their cancer. Since 2008 he has been volunteering as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jacob and his wife Michelle have two children, Mason and Adalyn. He also enjoys reading, exercising, and travel.
Marcus has spent the past ten years working in the home care field. A history buff, he values the time he spends just listening to older people share their accumulated wisdom, and particularly loves when they tell stories about living through events that he has studied. Marcus takes pride in his ability to help others get the most out of their life, as well as in providing encouragement to those who are having a tough time. In his free time he enjoys participating in Jujitsu competitions, watching sports, and traveling with his girlfriend Carrie and their dog Christy.

His most fond memories are of time spent with his grandparents and he feels fortunate for the influence they had on his upbringing and who he is today. In his free time, James enjoys hiking and backpacking in the Sierras as well as spending time with his family and friends.

David has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a background working in CPA offices. In his current position of financial assistant he is in charge of payroll, insurance, and billing. Outside of work, David enjoys volunteering at his church. He’s also an avid road biker and loves spending time outdoors hiking with his beloved wife Ruth Ann.
Linda joins the Family Matters team at our newest office serving the Greater San Diego area. Her extensive background in client services enables her to thoroughly understand client needs and prioritize providing solutions. Linda’s dedication to our clients stems from her personal experience of managing long-term care for her mother and grandmother.
