Remembering Our Client and Friend, Donald Yost

38At Family Matters, we pride ourselves on always trying to treat our clients as if they were members of our own family. However, we often find that it works the other way, too – that our clients come to love us and treat us as if we were part of their families.

This week, we lost a long-time, beloved client and friend, Donald (Don) Yost. Carol and Marcus (pictured above) have cared for Don for the past 12 years, and in fact, Don is who inspired our family business. We saw that a quality person like Don deserved only the best care, and that he wasn’t alone.

Don was a smart, talented, loving person. During his career, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Fairchild, and worked with Andy Grove who started Intel. He loved investing, sports and hanging out at Double D’s Sports bar in Los Gatos. His god son was Tony Gonzalez from the Atlanta Falcons.

Don’s memory will always be a blessing, as thoughts of his warm smile and his kind heart will forever bring us comfort and joy. Please join us in remembering this special friend of Family Matters.
