A Quick Exercise That Will Change Your Life

Dr. Weil, a renowned Harvard-trained medical doctor, teacher and best-selling author, once noted that out of all of the interventions he learned while in school, he has found breathing to be the most effective for his patients.

If you are overwhelmed by the changes you know you need to make in order to take better care of yourself, Dr. Weil’s breathing technique is a very simple way to start! It takes only a few seconds, doesn’t require any equipment and can be done from anywhere:

First, exhale completely through your mouth until you don’t have any breath left.
Count to four as you slowly inhale through your nose.
Count to seven as you hold your breath.
Count to eight as you exhale completely through your mouth.
Repeat this cycle three more times.

That’s it! Try it, and we promise you will feel better after just one try.
