Family Matters In-Home Care Acquires AltaGolden Caregiving in Escondido, CA
CAMPBELL, California, December 15, 2020 – Family Matters In-Home Care LLC, a family-owned and operated in-home care agency, announced it has acquired AltaGolden Caregiving, an in-home care company based in Escondido, CA. Founded in 2006 by Laura Barish, AltaGolden Caregiving serves approximately 30 clients in the San Diego region.
“We are excited to acquire an agency that not only allows us to expand our services in the San Diego area, but also operates under the same principles we are used to at Family Matters,” said Family Matters CEO and Managing Partner Jacob Laffen. “Like AltaGolden, we work in a very collaborative manner within the office and with our clients.”
Family Matters will continue to employ AltaGolden’s existing caregivers and operations staff. Additionally, in-home services for AltaGolden’s clients will continue uninterrupted.
“We are working closely with Laura to ensure a seamless transition for clients and their families,” said Laffen. “We want to make sure the care they receive remains consistent and that everyone feels comfortable with the change.”
