Every Service We Offer,
in Every Place We Serve
No matter which part of California your parent calls home, the care doesn’t change. Across San Francisco, Silicon Valley, San Jose, and Sacramento, families get the same full range of non-medical support and the same caregivers-who-actually-stay standard that earned our reviews. Start with the kind of help you need today; we’ll adjust as life does.
Frequently Asked Questions
We serve four regions (San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, Silicon Valley, San Jose, and Sacramento) each with a local office and local caregivers. If you’re unsure whether we cover your parent’s address, call (888) 962-4836 and we’ll let you know.
No. Family Matters provides non-medical home care: help with daily living, companionship, personal care, and supervision. We don’t provide clinical or nursing treatment, but we often work alongside the medical professionals already involved in a client’s care.
Look past the marketing. Ask who you’ll actually talk to when something changes, how the agency handles caregiver consistency, and whether you can read real, verifiable reviews. Ask how care plans are customized. The right agency will answer plainly and you’ll feel it in the first conversation.
Care is typically billed hourly, with live-in arrangements priced differently. Because every plan is built around an individual’s needs and schedule, the most accurate way to get a number is a free consultation — we’ll walk you through the options with no pressure.
Often within a few days, and sometimes faster after a hospital discharge. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible for your situation.
Yes. We provide supportive Alzheimer’s and dementia care and recovery care across all regions we serve, framed around safety, routine, and companionship
